Long before becoming a Teacher Assistant, Melanie Coughlin has been a familiar face around the Tonawanda City School District.
While she’s worked the last five years primarily with fourth graders, before that, she worked as an elementary substitute teacher for 17 years and is a proud Class of 1997 graduate of TCSD.
Coughlin works daily to connect with students, keep them safe and provide the skills they need to succeed.
Rob Ross, Tonawanda Elementary School Principal, says she is a great member of the team and a great resource. She connects with her students, giving them consistency and support across all ability levels.
